Ran Online

Ran Online is one of my favorite games. I really like this game because it is fun and I really like the effects of the skills. It is a nice game to play and I like the faces of the characters because they look like real people.

Ran Online is a game about three schools or campuses namely Sacred Gate, Mystic Peak, and Phoenix Campus. These three schools train students to fight against monsters and other evil creatures around the campus and even in other maps of the game. The students that are trained are classified into four classes. These classes are the Brawler class, Swordsman, Archer and Shaman. Brawlers can use their hands and feet in fighting and they use Gauntlets for their hands. The Swordsmen use either a blade or a sword depending if he is intelligence type, power type, or dexterity type. The archers use bows to fight their enemies while the Shaman casts magic and support characters by their healing and buff spells.

The enemies of this game are monsters. Some of them are the Hooligans, Bandits, Onslaughts, Street Junkies, Punks, Gangsters, Blood Hunters, and many more! I really like the looks of the monsters because they look like real. All the maps of the game has monsters but there are some monsters that are not in other schools.

Players can undergo quest in order to attain gold, experience or better items. Quests really help the characters a lot! It does not only give gold but also experience and some items like gloves, rings, and others. Quests also make characters attain life points which are needed by the characters. Life points also help the characters a lot.

Players can not only fight monsters. They can duel with other characters whether high level or not. In the dueling, characters don’t lose and gain experience. It is just a way of testing the skills and proving your strength.

One of the reasons why I like this game is because of the weapons. I really like the weapons in this game and I like its looks especially the swords and blades of the Swordsmen which are enormous. Swords and Blades are my favorite items in this game because they are big and their designs are nice. Among the blades and swords, I like blades better because of their nice designs and the structure is also nice. I also like the bows especially the large ones because they also look nice and cool. But I like the weapons of the swordsmen better than the weapons of the archer.

For gaining much experience, it is better to join parties than working alone because in parties, the experience that every member gets from every monster killed is shared by the party members. Parties can only contain eight members and the most important and most needed member of parties is the shaman because the shaman is the one who heals the lives of the members and they also give buffs which are very helpful for the other members. It is also needed that parties have lurers or the ones who lure monsters.

To keep on leveling, continue to join parties and get some quests and other stuffs in order to attain much experience.

"My Experiences in Molave Street- Part II"

ATTENTION: READ FIRST PART1 BEFORE READING THIS.

In the first part of “My Experiences in Molave Street”, I talked about my experiences with Ranjie Yu and Allan Torrefalma. Now, in the second part of my experiences, I’m going to talk about my experiences with James Chua and Joey Ian Lañojan. My experiences with them are embarrassing and funny. I was not the one embarrassed but I’m going to talk about it because I was there when the events happened.

First, I will talk about my experience with James. Just like what Ranjie and I did, James and I also walked together because we went ahead of our other walk mates. We were happily walking through the street until we reached the street near the terminal. Across us, we saw Nezzy and Faith together with Gener. They also saw us. After seeing us, Faith immediately ran and approached us. As we saw Faith approaching, James decided to run so that we can get rid of her. I did not run so James held my hand and he ran with his back facing the direction we were going to. Because he was not facing the right direction, he did not see the rock on the ground so he fell with his back facing the ground. It was very embarrassing because many people saw him and it was beside the main road. And the worst thing is that James’ crush saw the incident. It was really embarrassing. But we still managed to laugh.

Next, I will talk about my experience with Joey. This time, we were not walking alone. We were many that time. The incident really did not happen in Molave. It happened near the Ayala entrance. We crossed the street going to the entrance of the mall but there are railings beside the road that’s why we can’t enter. We need to walk and reach the end of the railings in order to get in. But because we were lazy that time, we didn’t like to walk so far. And so, we just climbed the railings and jumped over. As I climbed the railings, I noticed that Joey was in an upside-down position because his foot got entangled between the spaces of the railings. He was really in upside-down position. His hands were already touching the ground and his feet were above his head. It was a really funny scene and nobody was able to help him because we were all in a hurry so that we will not be caught by the CITOM. Joey was in that position for halft a minute and he was able to help his self. The good news is that he didn’t have any wounds. The only painful thing about the incident is the shame he received. But after the incident, again, we still managed to laugh and went home with smiles in our faces.

I had still many funny experiences as I walked through the Molave Street but I’m going to talk about them on the next part of “My Experiences in Molave Street”.

"My Experiences in Molave Street- Part I"

I experienced many things in Molave Street. Some are good and some are embarrassing. But I am going to talk about the most embarrassing happenings that happened to me and my friends in that street.

Me and my friends often pass by Molave Street as we go home because we will take a ride at Ayala terminal and I think I can save if I walk from the school to Ayala because I will only take one ride to go home. Many walking moments passed by and many things happened to us as we walked through the street.

First, I will share my experience with Allan Torrefalma. Allan and I, together with our other friends and classmates, were walking in that street. When we arrived at the dark area of the street, Paul Ivan shouted that there was a white lady. Upon hearing him, Allan and I, and the rest of the boys were now running as fast as we could. Allan was running ahead of me. Upon running, Allan lost his balance and then fell on the ground. Because I was behind him, I also fell on the ground because his foot blocked me. I was not that hurt and in fact, I didn’t feel any pain at all. But as I saw Allan, I could really say that he is hurt because he could barely stand. When he stood, we saw that his knees are full of wounds. But we still managed to laugh after the event happened.

Next, I will share my experience with Ranjie Yu. This time, we were the only two who walked because we went ahead our other walk mates. We were quietly walking through the street. When we arrived at the cross section of the street, a very big bus just turned to the direction where we were. Now, the bus was approaching us. Molave Street is not that big so the bus had a hard time making the turn that’s why Ranjie and I needed to go closer to the wall so that the bus will fit without hurting us. We were in a hurry going to the wall and we didn’t notice that there was a canal. The canal did not really look like a canal because it was covered with grass. Without knowing that it was a canal, we hurriedly jumped in and I was really shocked because I felt the cold and sticky water of the canal and the water was as deep as the height of my shoes. Good for me that I only jumped with my left foot. Good for Ranjie also because he was able to hold to the wall because I was the first one who jumped in. But still, we also managed to laugh.

There were still many things that happened to us as we walked through the street but those two are the most embarrassing of them all. Though we experienced many embarrassing moments in that street, we are still walking through it and we will continue to pass by the Molave Street because the things that happened to us will serve as a remembrance.

My Chemical Romance

M.C.R. or My Chemical Romance is one of my favorite foreign bands. The members of the band are really cool guys. Their looks, their songs, and the way they sing and play the songs really make me lose control. I really love some of their songs because of the tune and the beat. I knew about this band just a few months ago but it seems like I already know this band for years!

Honestly, I knew about this band just a few months ago because of their song “Welcome to the Black Parade.” During the first time I heard this song, I really appreciated it and I immediately searched for the lyrics of the song and learned the tune of the song. Of course, if you love the song a lot, you will search who the singer is or the band who sang the song. So, I searched about the band, the members, and other stuffs. The band members are Gerard Way, his brother Mikey Way, Frank Iero, Bob Bryar, and the guy with a curly hair, but I don’t know what his name is. Among the members of the band, my favorite is Mikey Way. I really like his look and the way he plays the guitar. He is really good in playing the guitar. I also like the other members but of course he is my favorite.

I always listen to their songs. Their songs really blasts my head off! Every time I listen to their songs, I really feel like rocking and I really can’t stop myself from rocking and rocking! Their songs are always on my mind. I really love their songs a lot! I always sing their songs. Even if I am doing something, I still sing their songs. Some of their songs which are my favorite are, Welcome to the Black Parade, Helena, and many more. Among all their songs, my favorite is “Welcome to the Black Parade.” I really like this song and this is the first song that I heard from them. I really like the tune of this song. At first, it is slow but then the beat becomes fast and the way they sing the song is really very noisy! Aside from the tune, I also like the video. Although I don’t understand the video very much, there is something in it that really got me. Yes, the video is very cool and the effects are very nice.

I also admire their looks. Their cool faces really drop my heart off. Aside from their cool faces, I also admire their hair. These guys are emo and I really admire their hair that’s why my friends and I always style our hair just like theirs. Bob Bryar, their drummer, has really long bangs and I like its style. It’s totally cool! I really want to have a hairstyle like Bob Bryar’s.

This band is really a cool band. And that’s the reason why I love this band. For me, this is the best band that I’ve ever knew. The way they play, their cool looks, their songs, their styles, and the members really makes this band so cool!

Know Your School Day

Being taught by a classmate during the “Know Your School Day” event is quite fun for me. For those who applied to a position, of course they had a great experience because they experienced how teaching is, its difficulties, and its fun stuffs. They also experienced how teachers feel during discussions and how it feels if they have really naughty students. I did not apply to any position so I didn’t have the chance to experience how teachers feel while they are teaching in front of students. Though, being taught by my fellow students is still a great experience for me.


I somehow had some fun during the “Know Your School Day” event. Being taught by a fellow student is really a great experience. Having students teach fellow students really helps in some ways. There is a really greater interaction if students teach their fellow students. Students being taught are not that scared to ask questions to the student teaching because it’s their fellow student and they’ve been close friends because they are staying in one classroom and good friends have a great interaction with each other. Of course, if there is a great interaction, the students being taught will learn and understand the lessons easily and fast.

It is also helpful in the way that the teachers teaching are about our age and they know what students like during discussions and what they don’t like during discussions. Of course, teenagers really like to have fun. So, our student teachers made some games for us and of course the games are connected to the lessons. They also made the discussions fun, and not boring by making some jokes, and other fun stuffs. I really don’t want to get in a boring class. It really makes me sick. The students teaching us know how it feels when you are in a boring class because I know that they are experiencing that sometimes. So, the students teaching us made those games and other fun stuffs for us to enjoy the discussions and that really made me have some great fun!

Aside from having great fun, I also learned some new lessons from our discussions and I also learned some new teaching styles to use during discussions and I’m sure it will be a great help for me in the future. I also found out who among my classmates have a future of being a great teacher someday and I found few of them, but they are not that good yet. They also serve as an inspiration for me of being a great teacher someday because honestly, I really don’t know how to teach. I’m not that good in teaching. But I know that I will develop my skills in teaching and they will serve as my inspiration for now.

The best part during the event is the receiving of the awards. Receiving an award is really nice. Of course, all the students who taught us during the event received their own awards and I am really happy for them. Although I did not receive any certificate as an award, I still received a very important award. It is the experience of being taught by a fellow student.

Effects of Playing Computer Games

Playing computer games is one of my favorite pastimes. It really makes me feel good whenever I play. Playing computer games also makes me happy. It also cures some of my problems. These are just some of the effects of computer games to me, actually, good effects. Computer games, though, has good effects. But aside from the good effects, playing computer games also brings bad effects to me.

I’ve been a computer addict since I was in grade six. I was really addicted to computer games and I could not stop playing those games. Computer games really brought a lot of good effects on me. It makes me happy, makes me feel good, inspires me somehow, cures some of my problems, and many more. But, aside from the good effects of playing computer games, it also has really bad effects on me.

Being a computer addict really needs a lot of money because you need to pay for the rental of the computer that you used in the internet café, if you don’t have your own computer. Sometimes, it takes me five hours to finish playing a game and renting a computer for five hours is very expensive. It really affected my savings a lot. Without knowing, my money slowly depleted and I was really shocked when I found out that I didn’t save that much at the end of that month. I really felt bad because I spent a lot of money just because of those games.

Computer games also affected my performance in school. My grades became lower because of being a computer addict. My time for studying was really converted to those games. Instead of going to school early to study, I always go to school early just to play computer games. And instead of going home early, I often go home very late because I just stay in the internet café playing those games. I really forget all my school obligations because every time I arrive at home, I then feel sleepy and tired and I can’t study my lessons anymore because I immediately go to bed and sleep. At the end of the grading period, my parents were really disappointed because of my performance at school. Playing computer games really makes a person dull!

Computer games really consumes a lot of time. It really ruined my schedules. Instead of spending my time with my family and friends, I often spend the rest of my time at the internet café and play computer games. I even forget my household chores just because of playing computer games. It also teaches me violence. My real world was really converted to the world of computer games. Whenever I have to go with my friends, I always arrive late because of those games.

Playing computer games also made me look ugly because I wake up early in the morning just to play computer games and I sleep late at night just to play and play. It ruined my eyes, and my face. Now, I wear eyeglasses because I can’t see clearly anymore and I have really big eye bags because I forget to sleep because of playing computer games.

My Instrument...

I really love music very much. I love listening to any kind of music. Because I love to listen to music, I also love to play musical instruments. I play some musical instruments but my favorite instrument is the drums. I love this instrument because it feels good whenever I hit it and whenever I do the drum rolls. I can also express my feelings whenever I play this instrument. I started playing the drums when I was in grade six. A friend of mine taught me how to play this instrument and it was just for free.

My first drum lesson was really hard for me, It was really very hard for me to coordinate my hands and feet. I really couldn’t coordinate my hands and feet and it seems like I was not interested to learn anymore because honestly, it was really hard. Although I was not interested anymore, I still came to his lessons but I just did it for fun and my mind was not open for learning anymore. But as I slowly practiced, I slowly got the pattern and I coordinated my hands and feet and I can already play some songs with just simple beatings. I was again interested to learn more of how to play the instrument. After how many months of learning and practicing, my drum skills improved and I can now hit the drums better than before and my drum rolls improved and it was better than my drum rolls before.

Until now, I still play the drums and I think I will continue to play the drums until I have kids. I don’t have drum lessons anymore and my friend can’t teach me anymore. Now, what I do so I can learn is, just listening to some songs and carefully, I listen to the drums and the way the drummer hit it and do the rolls. After listening, I then try to play the song and try to follow the way the drummer played the drums. Most of the songs that I listen to are songs that have fast beatings because I prefer playing fast music than slow ones.

Playing the drums is really fun for me. It really feels good whenever I hit it and whenever I do the rolls because it seems like my heart is jumping and rocking for joy. Whenever I play the instrument, it my heart really feels good and it relieves my sadness and sometimes cures my problems. It is also a good exercise for me because I move many parts of my body whenever I play it. After playing the drums, I really feel happy and I feel like relieved from my problems. The drums is really my instrument. Of all the instruments that I play, this is the only one that expresses my feelings a lot. I think this instrument is going to be my instrument until I become old but even if the drums is my favorite, I still continue to play other instruments.
